There is nothing better than catching up with an old friend on a brisk fall day on the patio at Sushi Tazu in Cherry Creek!

The Atmosphere is:
Not "Cherry Creek" flashy by any means. It's comfortable and the patio is one of the best locations in Cherry Creek for people watching. You can tell that the main focus at Sushi Tazu is on the food!
What to Drink/Eat:
I'm a sucker for hand rolls and I love that any of their rolls or pieces can be turned into a hand roll. They are like little sushi burritos! I haven't tried anything on the menu that I didn't like.

I lived in Boulder for a year a while ago and enjoy every time I go back for a visit. I was there the other day and had some time on my hands so I stopped into The Laughing Goat for a cup of coffee and a snack. It was the perfect way to pass some time!

If you can snag a table on the patio on a nice day, you've got it made. The inside is great too. Tons of seating, places to spread out...great place to work.

I snacked on a chicken caesar wrap and a cup of their bold brew. The pastries looked delightful...but I was good and passed on them!

I needed to get some work done. I REALLY needed to get some work done and my home office was alive with the distractions that only 2 one year olds, a nanny, a grandmother and another mommy working from home can provide. I decided to sneak out and hole up at one of my favorite spots in Berkeley.

Have you ever found yourself ready to end a night on the town then pass by a bar that looks like it's so hoppin' that you have to stop in? The Corner Office is probably where you stumbled into!

Swanky, upscale but not pretentious. Cool bar, hipster restaurant...it just has a great feel.
