Bones, in Denver's Capitol Hill neighborhood, is spoon-lickin' good!

Have you ever gotten a picture in your head of something and it turns out to be nothing like what you thought it would be? Like your friend, Stephen, says, "let's go to dinner at Bones in Capitol Hill" and you think, awesome, I love steak. (Bones, makes you think of meat, right?) Then you realize that it's a noodle bowl restaurant and not a steak house but you decide to just go with it. That's what happened last week when I tried Bones. Thank the Lord I just went with it...it was AWE-some!
Restaurant: Bones for lunch, dinner or happy hour
Location: 701 Grant Street, in Denver's Capitol Hill neighborhood
The Atmosphere is:
Upscale-hole-in-the-wall. Is that even a thing? Considering the fact that my brain was still trying to comprehend the fact that this was a noodle bowl restaurant, not a fancy steak house, I'm surprised I even gathered that until after I sat down. The service was impeccable. Truly. Our server was very knowledgable, made amazing suggestions and even though, on the surface, it looked like Bones was a hole-in-the-wall, it was actually quite classy.
What to Drink/Eat:
I started with a drink from the happy hour menu called a Tsunami. This was based on a recommendation from our server and she nailed it. Then it was time to order dinner. Unfortunately we skipped appetizers because we were all starving, but I'll be back for those soon enough. Our server recommended the Ramen: Poached Lobster, Edamame, Beurre Blanc, Miso Lobster Broth. Are you kidding me? It was so good I wanted to take a bath in it. Again our server nailed it!
Value for the Price?
I was a little taken aback by the fact that my noodle bowl was going to cost $18. Then I remember that it had lobster in it. Then I tasted it. I think I still owe them money.
Bones would be Fabulous for:
Anything...especially if you don't, in fact, want steak.
